[~rkellogg] - Can I bother you to create a patch and attach it here. We have
yet to start dealing directly with github and PRs. Though this should be
brought up on the dev@ list to see what sort of consensus we could get for
doing so. I will assign this JIRA to you and make sure that you are in the
