In summary:
* Define a simplified topology descriptor
* Support discovery of these simplified descriptors (local, remote)
* Implement topology generation from simplified descriptor (using service URL
discovery), and deployment of the same
* Support provider configuration references in topology descriptors (i.e.,
externalized provider config)
* Support topology change discovery for already-deployed topologies (notice
when service config changes, affecting service URLs)
