The HTTP client employed for Ambari REST API invocations to facilitate
discovery and topology generation must be constrained by a timeout more
reasonable than the default. As it is, (especially noticeable upon start-up) if
an Ambari endpoint is unreachable, Knox appears to hang for a time.
