Ah thanks for testing so quickly. I think I know what the issue is. I think I
am pulling the user incorrectly only from the request remote user. It works
with LDAP but wouldn't work in other cases. I'll take a closer look tomorrow.
I'll check the examples you gave as well. This is very helpful.
