Kevin Risden commented on KNOX-899:
-----------------------------------
Some miscellaneous notes:
*
[http://javadox.com/com.sun.jersey/jersey-bundle/1.18/com/sun/jersey/api/core/ResourceConfig.html#FEATURE_REDIRECT]
*
[https://www.eclipse.org/jetty/javadoc/9.4.14.v20181114/org/eclipse/jetty/rewrite/handler/RedirectPatternRule.html]
* [https://www.eclipse.org/jetty/documentation/9.4.x/rewrite-handler.html]
Not sure any of the above are feasible but thought was related to Apache httpd
and mod_rewrite.

> The biggest thing is that https://localhost:8443/gateway/default/solr
> (without the trailing slash) results in a bad rendering of the Solr UI page.
> With the trailing slash it works just fine.

> Thanks for testing it [~risdenk]! The trailing slash issue with UI proxying
> seems to be a recurring thing. At this point we should file a bug for that.
> Since you discovered it, it would be great if you could file it.
