--------------------------------------------------------------------

I think that is the reason for 3.0.0 and 2.7.0. So that we shall not break
anything.

I have not got clearly what we have broken by adding 3.0.0?

If we have federated cluster use 3.0.0, else use 2.7.0.

I don't remember we have tested 3.0.0 with the non-federated cluster, but the
KNOX-1340 purpose is to support federated hdfs cluster.

As I said in my comments above one thing we can do here is to check if 2.7.0
will work for both federated and non-federated cluster.

> Currently the HDFSUI service is broken with version 3.0.0. Version 2.7.0
> works. It looks like there were a bunch of changes to the 2.7.0 version but
> not the 3.0.0 version. Version 2.7.0 seems to fix the issue that 3.0.0 was
> introduced for. We should remove it since currently version 3.0.0 is broken.
> Version 3.0.0 was introduced in KNOX-1340
