Fix For: 1.3.0
We currently have usages of "import static org.junit.Assert.assertThat;" that
can be replaced directly with hamcrest. In most places we currently use
hamcrest anyway. Junit 5 removes assertThat from Junit so we might as well
migrate only to hamcrest for assertThat.
