Larry McCay commented on KNOX-1860:
-----------------------------------

[~pzampino] - I actually think that this should be addressed with a separate
Knox Admin UI application session that lives beyond the lifetime of the SSO
cookie. Sessions should expire after a period of inactivity, IMO, not just a
time limit.

I am moving this out to 1.4.0 for now, we can discuss the implementation
details on here still though. If you feel it needs to go into 1.3.0 and can
provide a patch shortly then we can move it back in.

> When Knox SSO is in play, the Admin UI can become unusable when the SSO
> cookie expires. All of the underlying API calls fail, and content is not
> displayed; the behavior is confusing to users who really need to know that
> they need to login again.
> Reloading the app/page is the simple work-around if the user understands what
> is happening, but it will be better if the app itself could recognize this
> state, and redirect the user to the login screen.
