Rohan Nimmagadda commented on KNOX-1644:
----------------------------------------
Adding some more experince with namenode UI , when namenode UI and Knox is
configured with kerberos ("hadoop.http.authentication.type":"kerberos",
"hadoop.http.authentication.simple.anonymous.allowed": "false").
HDFSUI is not working its throwing an internal 503 Serice Unavailable, Just
would like to know is that an expected behaviour does Knox supports the
Kerberized HDFS UI ?
> Improve HDFSUI 3.0.0 version to handle no ?host= parameter

> Currently the HDFSUI service is broken with version 3.0.0. Version 2.7.0
> works. It looks like there were a bunch of changes to the 2.7.0 version but
> not the 3.0.0 version. Version 2.7.0 seems to fix the issue that 3.0.0 was
> introduced for. We should remove it since currently version 3.0.0 is broken.
> Version 3.0.0 was introduced in KNOX-1340
> *Update*: ?host=http://NAMENODE_HOST:NAMENODE_PORT needs to be added to the
> /hdfs/ endpoint.
