## What changes were proposed in this pull request?
Fix for Null Pointer Exception arising due to whitespaces. Changes suggested
in previous PR have all been incorporated.
## How was this patch tested?
Specific Unit tests relating to most possible test cases have been written
and tested, manual tests also conducted.
