You're right. Since Knox carries a pure copy of the Swagger UI bundle, keeping a Knox-local modification would create an unnecessary divergence from upstream. Choosing Knox as the place for the permanent fix was my mistake. I checked the Swagger UI history and did not find this fail-closed state handling in any release through v5.32.14 or on current master, so the correction needs to be made in Swagger UI first. I am closing this PR. KNOX-3435 can be closed as well; after Swagger UI publishes a corrected release, Knox can update the complete vendored bundle under a separate dependency-update issue.
