Sorry for all the spam from moving jira issues into the apache jira.
Anyway that is complete.
From now on please make sure there is a jira filed, assigned to you and
Status set to "In Progress" for anything that you are working on. With
my RM hat on this will make it much easier to produce some of the
documentation files that need to accompany a release.
In addition all commits related to a jira (and they should all be
right!) should be referenced into jira issue. I'm still waiting to hear
from infra if this can be automated for git like it is svn. However for
now you can use "git log -1" to get the hash for the last commit "-2"
for the last two, etc. The important part is to get the hash into the
jira but the commit, Author, Date lines are probably best to add.
You can also use the git web ui
