I have identified an issue with HMS sync (when upgrading hive) where Hive tries to migrate tables from Managed to External (with purge=true) and fails. I posted a patch here: https://gerrit.cloudera.org/#/c/17531/
I also saw an issue with the SLES docker image and will work on a fix for that as well.
