Is kylin need Hbase Snappy

hi,all:
   I want t make a test of kylin1.2 ,when I build the example cube ,about
75% ,I found error from the hbase logs :

   java.io.IOException: Compression algorithm 'snappy' previously failed
test

   So, I need install Snappy too ?
