I am facing same issue in cube building. First kylin give best result for 12 dimensions as this property is set in kylin.property file *kylin.cube.aggrgroup.max.combination=4096* so 2^12 . if you want best performance add Join dimensions,hierarchy(country,state,region,city) and Mandatory(high cardinalitycolumns) dimension it will speed up cube building.
