I think the new logo is an improvement, and we should adopt it. There were some questions in another thread about what is the approval process to change logo. I don't believe that a formal vote is needed. Just achieve consensus on the dev list. (You can have a vote if you really want!)
The policy[1] says that a project's official logo must include a "TM" (trademark) symbol. If we're changing logos, let's add that. While we're doing graphic design, should we also create a "powered by Apache Kylin" logo?
