I just want to point out that from the design(by the ASF), the dev@ mailing list is for developers to discuss and vote on, not for asking user-level questions. Besides, I do think the questions you asked here are valuable to other Kylin users, maybe another user who did subscribe to user@ but didn't subscribe to dev@ cannot find our discussion which might be useful to him/her.
Besides, I am willing to give some help to new users of Kylin 5, and I am interested in collecting feedback from the community.
