some questions about CuboidScheduler

hi,all
    Does anybody know the meaning of function findSmallerSibling in 
CuboidScheduler.java? This bothered me for several days.
    The function generated siblings based on a cuboid,  but what's the meaning 
of a cuboid's siblings?
