OData(Open Data Protocol, http://odata.org) is one REST protocol be supported
from various clients including Excel, Tableau and some mobile applications.
Beside offering ODBC/JDBC driver of Kylin, support OData as service layer also
has great potential to leverage existing consumers. The OData service also
could be consumed by any custom build applications with same interface,
protocol and behavior, no matter Java, PHP, NodeJS, C# and any others.
Using this story to gathering interesting and requirements from community,
please leave your comments here. Especially if you or your customers would like
to leverage OData to interactive with Kylin/Hadoop Data.
