One possible reason is the map-reduce class path is incomplete; Please refer to https://github.com/apache/incubator-kylin/blob/master/examples/test_case_da ta/sandbox/mapred-site.xml#L59 to set the class path; For HDP and CDH, they already set the class path so user don’t need additional configuration.
