This quesion has been asked in our mailing-list. As far as we know, Cognos
doesn't support generic JDBC drivers includes Kylin, or say it only allow a
couple of certified drivers like Oracle, DB2, etc; The error message in the
last snapshot you attached also matches this;
For ODBC, so far we only support Tableau; As ODBC is vendor specific, we need
community or vendor's support to develop the various drivers;
