okay, this is a known issue in previous version of Kylin; it usually
happens in the following cases:

1) the intermediate flat hive table has no records;
or
2) all values in this column on the intermediate hive table is null;

Please double check your source data and the selected date range, making
sure there has records to build cube, and the dimension columns have
values;

Since v1.0 Kylin will tolerate such case, and an empty segment will be
created;
