Thanks to you everyone!

Firstly, I'd like to thank Luke and all of you, for the incredible work on
Kylin. Because of your great efforts and share spirit for open-source, we
have Kylin, the powerful OLAP analysis system on hadoop ecosystem, and such
an actively, healthy community.

Here’s some introduce about myself and the company I’m working for.
Before this year, I worked on data infrastructure in Qihoo 360 (
http://www.360.com/), the most famous security company in China. I focused
on distribution data storage, especially HBase, serving variety
of businesses, such as web search engine and cloud-disk storage,
with dozens of Petabytes data. I also implemented a secondary-index
solution on HBase, based on the ideas of inverted index, supporting
complicated queries.

I’m working for Meituan (http://www.meituan.com/), which becoming the
biggest O2O service company in China. As an E-commerce company, we have
strong requirements on BI data analysis. That’s why we invested and
introduced Kylin into company. We have created some demo for different
business scenarios, which have meet production requirements, will be pushed
into production environments very soon.

Kylin has showed the impressive advantages, including ease to use, concise
and clear data model and low latency of query, and attracted interests from
many business lines. We’ll expand the using scenarios continuously, to meet
the requirements for high performance SQL analytics and OLAP. And we’re
also very pleased to improve Kylin more stable, efficiency and functional,
such as spark integration, inverted index and so on, with the community
together.

After all, it’s really a honor to be a Kylin committer for me. I’m looking
forward to make more contributions for Kylin community!
