We're using CDH5.4, both CDH5.3&5.4 come with hbase 1.0.0. We had no problems running Kylin out-of-the-box, you don't need to change anything in the pom.xml (i.e. don't change <hbase-hadoop2.version>0.98.8-hadoop2</hbase-hadoop2.version>). Also I sometimes test Kylin in Cloudera QuickStart VM and it also works there without any issues.

If it is v1.0 or above, you need compile a binary build from the 1.x-HBase1.x branch (run ./script/package.sh); after that, try to follow the guide in: https://kylin.incubator.apache.org/docs/install/index.html On 10/17/15, 12:17 AM, "Indiradevi Gorijavolu" <[email protected]> wrote: >Hi, > >How to install kylin in cloudera 5.3 vmware.
