For Asian numbering, those for Chinese, Japanese and Korean, you have to enable Asian support under Tools->Options->Language settings, and you can find the numbering under Format->Numbering/Bullet->Options. Same for Complex Text Layout(CTL) languages, like Thai, Arabic and Hebrew.
