The correct terminology for Draw is "page" and for Impress
"slide". A lot of these strings that were incorrect have
been corrected in OOo 2.0. More are being corrected in 2.0.1
and 2.0.2.
A search in IssueTracker would show you several fixed and
started tasks.
This is a difficult process because the code base for
Impress and Draw has had to be taken apart in several areas
so that the two applications could have separate terminology.
The term mix-up in English is a problem that originated when
the source language was German and the same term was used in
German for both applications (and the developers were German
and thought there was no problem using one term/string for
both applications, because they didn't think about foreign
languages having to translate the one term into two
different terms per application.)
Feel free to write new issues for any additional strings you
find in the English version where the terminology does not
match the application (as noted above).
I'm glad whenever people care about the terminology and make
it clear by writing issues. Be sure to write separate issues
for Help (documentation) or UI because they are handled by
different teams.
