Hi, > 1. When will the merging for 2.0.2 begin? And what en-US.sdf should be > used to make the GSI for that? you mean merging of translations? Not yet decided. What en-US.sdf? The latest available at that time ;-) > 2. I have created a patch for adding fa_IR locale to openoffice. Should > I now file an issue and commit the patch? Yes, file an issue. > 3. Is there a HOWTO for building localized openoffice using one's own > GSI? It is simple: 1. Build OOo's transex3 module 2. merge GSI (localize -m ..., see its help) 3. build as you'd do for en-US. But because this is not simple for time constraints/operating system knowledge etc. we use community build system where you simply work on your GSI, regularly update it at some URL and somehow it happens that your language will be at ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/SRC680_m142/Build-1/OOo_SRC680_m142_native_LinuxIntel_langpacks_rpm/ This system supports GNU/Linux, Windows, MacOS X. I'm now working on adding Solaris/SPARC too. -- Pavel Janík I use XEmacs every day and it taking *15 seconds* to indent a line of Java makes me seriously think about using Emacs instead. -- "Andy Piper" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> in xemacs-beta --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
