Hi Stephen,

do you have rw resource files in your build tree ?

ls */unxlngi6.pro/bin/*rw.res

Cheers,
Ivo

OK, thanks for the responses to this. I've got the localized code into
the main tree now, and have tried building it.

I did the following:
configure --enable-build-mozilla --enable-cups --with-dict=ALL
--with-lang="fr rw"
bootstrap
dmake

Then looked in directory
OOA680_m1/instsetoo_native/unxlngi6.pro/OpenOffice/deb/install.
Only en-US, en-US_download and log are present. Neither the fr nor
rw parts had built. No apparent errors, except a "Fetching dependencies
for module unodevtools from solver... failed...", which I assume isn't
relevant. I tried deleting the whole of unxlngi6.pro and rebuilt. It
reappeared, but again only the en-US parts were there.

Any ideas what I've missed?
Steve.

Hi,

I'm trying to build Kinyarwanda version of OOo on Ubuntu linux, and
have got to the stage of creating a file GSI_rw.sdf, which should
contain all the necessary translated strings. I then need to get

that

into my source directories.

I understand I need to use the 'localize' tool, which is present in
various forms in OOA680_m1/solver/680/unxlngi6.pro/bin and
OOA680_m1/transex3/scripts but it always reports the error
"No environment found (environment variable SOLARENV is

undefined)".

I'm not really sure what I'm doing here! Any help appreciated.

You need to use localize with the build enviroment. Set it up first.
For example:

$ tcsh
$ source LinuxIntelEnv.Set
$ rehash

and then:

$ localize
