Problem: Calc treats v and w as the same letter in Danish when sorting.
e.g. this is a incorrectly sorted list:
a
b
wa
vb
From where does Calc get its sorting order?
In the da_DK.xml locale the following is listed in <LC_INDEX>:
<IndexKey unoid="alphanumeric" default="true" phonetic="false">A-V X-Z Æ
Ø Å</IndexKey>
Should it be A-Z Æ Ø Å? What is the collateral effect other places?
I think this issue concerns Norwegian and Swedish locales, too.
Furthermore, what does Standard point to in the Language field in the
Settings tab for Sorting? I tried changing the language for the whole
document but that didn't effect the sorting order.
