You may try to use the font replacement, under Tools.Options.OOo.Fonts activate replacement and replace "Andale Sans UI" with the name of a font you know to be good on your system. That should replace the font used in menus and dialogs. In general we don't bundle fonts with OOo, since that would increase the download size also for people that don't need them.
