If your language requires Unicode, you may have suffered, as we have, from the lack of Unicode support in the NSIS (Windows) installer.

Tirumurti Vasudevan (Debian Tamil team) just posted this link:

to a Unicode patch for NSIS, which he says will create UTF-8 NSIS installers for Windows 2000/XP only.

I don't know if it will help with the OpenOffice.org Windows installer, but it does look cleaner than some of the hacks projects have had to use in the past to create Windows installers for UTF-8 languages.
