Hi all :)

Now our language is up on the OpenOffice.org Pootle (thankyou Aijin :) ), we need to adapt our workflow to Pootle.

What is the current procedure for generating SDF files from Pootle translations?

I ask not only in view of translation submissions for deadlines, but to maintain a current SDF file at a set URL for Pavel to use in his regular builds.

ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/
ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/.newserver/

These builds are essential for testing both translations and functions on an ongoing basis.

Pavel, do you build to a schedule?

Currently I'm creating an updated SDF file every time I integrate a reasonable number of new/changed strings. If we're going to generate SDF files either manually or automatically via Pootle, it would be useful to know often we really need to do that, in order for the files to be used in your regular builds.

If Pootle doesn't have the features for whatever SDF-generation procedure works best at OpenOffice.org, this is an opportunity to request and test them. :)
