Hi Eike, and everyone, Thanks for your email and I would like to use this chance to update on the status. I asked Louis if this can be ratified at the CC and so it was put on online vote last week as some of you know. My understanding is that everyone except one person (whom appears not participated) voted "yes" on the subject matter. I'm waiting for Louis's email on the result at this point and once I get the email from the CC, I'll bring the consensus to the Unicode consortium so that the official working relationship can start. Since we have the consensus at the OOo and you've kindly accepted the role, the only thing left is on the Unicode consortium's side only (i.e., updating the Unicode membership and liaison pages and the announcement) and nothing else we need to do at the OOo side. Once the announcement is made, I'll forward that to the L10N-Dev and the ESC mailing lists.
