a new bunch of fresh keyid builds + their sdf files will be available
end of this week! Someone can hack the po -> sdf scripts to merge the
keyids into the comment section of po !

The KeyID build for localized versions is a step forward but so far only
half-way to the solution. We need to have the KeyID listed in the SDF
and also in the PO file (e.g. as comments) in order to locate it in the
bunch of po files. Also Pootle should let a search to be performed in
the comments (didn't checked). Once that is in place, locating the
offending string will be done in a finger snap.
Another issue that raises in the inverse way. That is, to locate in the
UI/HC the string we are translating in PO/SDF. This will help to
understand the right context of the string. So far I was able to use
some heuristics with the comments of the PO files, but that is not error
proof. When it comes to the HC, the issue I have more often is
formatting errors (those infamous tags).
There is several duplicates in some categories that makes the
function unusable.
seems, that this is not a french only problem. We have duplicates in
our german version, too. I guess, that this is not only a translation
issue?
Same for pt-BR.
