Dear Anuradha,
great to see some interest again the the Sinhala language.
As Charles said there is already a project in place for this language
but not sure how active the group is.
The first step we recommend is to get in contact with the
native-language lead posting in the mailing lists, see how many
contributors are still active and decide together how to structure the
group.
Can you please let us know, if you have already got any reply from the
current lead or any other project member?

I'm Anuradha from Sri Lanka. I wish to start a new Localization project on
"Sinhala" Language for Open Office.org. Please add my project under the Open

The language used mainly in Sri Lanka. People who live in other countries,
who use Sinhala language has no difference in writing or speaking. I have
