The reason why I could not resist the urge of translating the wiki
page came from the issue 81382 (already fixed, closed).

The online-help of OpenOffice.org English has the following example code:

 Type address
     Name1 as String
     City as String
 End Type

Meanwhile, OpenOffice.org Japanese had funny translations like this:

 Enter your address
    put a name1 into text
    city as a text
 End Type

I guess those translations were made about a decade ago with a line-by-line
translation system with which it was hard to recognize surrounding contexts.

Anyway, I thought the wiki page with the similar code examples including
some jargons from programming languages had to be carefully and manually
translated in collaboration with a software engineer.

Rough translation has been done with JA.

Takaya, Makoto:
Could you linguistically review and revise it?
