Hi all,
Thanks to the issue,
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=114375
we have "Oracle" instead of "OOO_VENDOR" in the text on "Help - about
dialog" now.
:)
The text reads, "Copyright (c) 2000, 2010 Oracle and/or its affiliates.
All rights reserved.
This product was created by Oracle, based on OpenOffice.org.
OpenOffice.org acknowledges all community members, especially those
mentioned at
http://www.openoffice.org/welcome/credits.html."
But we have found that the text is not translated into Japanese yet.
We also found that the text in OpenOffice.org 3.2.1 Japanese version
is in English.
Please give us advice on how we can translate the text into Japanese
The test to translate can be found at:
http://pootle.services.openoffice.org/ja/openoffice_org/svx/source/intro.po/translate/
and how we can ask you to integrate the translation for 3.3 RC5.
Only approved showstoppers can be integrated into an RC. The risk with
this issue is that we risk to integrate the translation of this text and
we later on discover that the tags are set incorrectly. Additionally, as
the 3.2.1 version got already released with the English text it cannot
even be classified as a regression to justify integration of translation
in such a very late release stage.
I'd recommend to make sure it get translated in the next version.
Thanks,
Rafaella
