User can reuse session for all his actions. Without imposing limits, there can
be fraud users who fillup system with sessions and make it un-usable.

Sure, we can have an api to expire sessions older than given time for a user.
bq. OR an API that can allow the user to restore previous session will be
useful.
Did not understand exactly what you meant here. Unexpired session is always
usable by user.
