Basic framework looks good.
Can we also think of a way to retry on a different driver ( hive to spark and
vertica to hive). In this case the driver will return a Retry Policy which more
options.
Are we planning to send an intimation to the user that his query is being re
tried ? Also can we also capture how the query progress/status will show for
end user in case of retries. Should we add REST api to expose attempts also
For server restart cases, will the query retry policy be serialized along with
query context?
We might have to re look at the schema to accommodate failed attempts such that
analysis is easy. I will also think about it and see if we have other options.
