With 1.4alpha1 or with a recent SVN version?
With a recent SVN. The basic editing with VIM worked very well.
BTW: has anybody tried OpenOffice as a WebDav client? I can open the url
http://localhost:8888/default/ but get the login page. I found no way to
pass the username and pwd so far.
Best,
Renaud
I did not check 1.4alpha1 yet.

Doug,
I've been experimenting with Cadaver and Vim, and it worked OK.
Thanks,
Renaud

Doug,
I have been trying using XP Web Folders as well as JEdit with the WebDAV
plugin. The result remains the same.

Torsten
Hi Torsten,
Which webDAV client are you using? I have only used cadaver,
dreamweaver, and xp web folders.

Hi!
I tried this by the instructions on the Wiki page, but run into some
problems. Not sure yet why that might be.
I can login and see the authoring folder, but it's just empty. No files
showed.
Any idea? Anyone had that problem before?
Sounds like the request [PROPFIND /default/authoring] isn't recognized
as webdav and is being redirected to a login page [which the client
doesn't understand]. I have seen this problem. Try using axis
[http://lenya.apache.org/1_2_x/components/repository/webdav.html#Monitoring+the+WebDAV+exchange]
to see what is going on. Make sure that the user-agent is matched as
webdav in confpatch/selectors.xmap.
