Just a brief summary:
1. It turns out my Lenya experience was a lot bumpier than I expected.
I'm about 2 week behind the schedule, still reading the codes, and
couldn't get the v1.4 compiled successfully (v1.2 compiles OK though).

well, it should build fine actually. Have you updated your Cocoon
2.1.X version?
2. I still have not decided which way to go, base the APIs on WebDAV
or take a broader view. Maybe I should start from WebDAV, after
exploring a little bit more then decide how far I should go with
OSR-101.
makes sense. btw, I have added a section of leveraging WebDAV to OSR-101
and enhanced the spec in general
3. Part of the delay was due to I'm takling an extensive summer course
these two weeks. It will be done this week then I shall be 100% focus
on Lenya Editor. I'm confident (maybe blindly) I can finish the
project on time.
