Actually I always wanted to add forrest:views to the default pub. That was one reason I developed them. ;-) We call them second generation skining because their are really flexible and you can imitate *any* (really any) site structure and apply css to it. That makes it possible to e.g. imitate http://www.csszengarden.com/ with the default pub within no time. It is based on a configuration file that supports: - page specific view - doctype specific view (not yet, need to fix a bug first ;-)) - recursive dir fallback views - application theme specific view - application default view I will add the default pub to the forrest svn and start the work over there. > > > [We really aought to consider getting some kind of mailing list together > > for this collaboration so that discussion can happen on a central place] > > I guess this would help getting Lenya people involved. > +1 Let us write an eMail to infra and request a list. Anyway, thing like doco or the pub I will check in to forrest should go into a collaborative svn, where forrest/lenya/cocoon committers can all work together, we may want to talk/request this as well (if possible). wdyt? salu2 -- thorsten "Together we stand, divided we fall!"
