A quick feedback:
I think the mime-type should be bound to the document and not to
the document type, otherwise you would need a document type for
every single mime-type.

The interfaces are in org.apache.lenya.cms.repo, a JCR-based
implementation is in the jcr module. The jackrabbit module provides
a RepositoryFactory and node type definitions for Jackrabbit.
Some entry points, no idea if they work ATM:
./build.sh modules.test -> runs the repository test
./build.sh migrate-14 -> imports the content of the default pub
into the JCR-based repository
