Hello :-)

My name is Martin and I'm from Slovakia. I'm a junior Java developer. I
have found your Lenya project on web and it looks very interesting. In
our company we are using FatWire, I think, you have ever heard about it.
I want to ask you, if you could compare your Lenya with FatWire?

yes, I think I have heard about it. Wasn't FatWire in the early
days FutureTense, which was aquired by openmarket, or am mixing something?

Because
all our developers are cursing at FatWire. It's so bad content
management and it's not for free. Therefore I'm rather doing other
things with Java like Oracle and SAP.

what are the main features of FatWire? Or what is special
about FatWire?

I think that our company should switch to another content managenemt and
your product seems to be very good.Later I would like to speak with our
boss about it and offer your Lenya as an alternative. But I will wait
for version 1.4 of Lenya yet :-)

you might have to wait some more months for a release of 1.4,
but one can already use it.

And can you write me, for what kinds of project is Lenya suitable and
for which is it not recommended?

see the http://lenya.apache.org/community/live-sites.html

We are now using FatWire for a portal,
which includes videos and games on demand...

Lenya is based on Cocoon and Cocoon offers JSR-168 support.

Thanx

Martin
