It should be configurable ;-) because leaving it within subversion dir
means you
get a lot of content or other stuff, which shouldn't go into SVN
This can be resolved with JCR, or at least with configurable directories
for content, search index, temp files etc. (could default to the web
application). But I'm sure this needs more investigation.
