I know ;-) but I was to Gregor's email that he thinks we receive to many
commit messages and I don't see any reason why? So Gregor might want
to explain what he means by this.
it was turned off because the situation at eg

http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/lenya-commits/200503.mbox/thread?1

was stupid. in some cases, there were over a hundred commit mails for a single deploy of the site. you'll see when the next big site update happens.
ok. But can anyone explain why there are over a hundred commit mails for a single deploy of the site? I don't understand
why there should be any at all.

hmm, if you e.g. add a new site to the documentation it is in the menu
(navigation), right? So all the pages that have now the new link in the
menu needs to be updated, right?

thanks for the explanation. I am too stupid sometimes ;-)

Michi

Anyway, if you like to discuss this any further:

ATM I am the only one publishing the site thereby the changes are
minimal (for further discussion about this please use
[email protected], there are already current threads to solve
this
problem and an issue https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOR-805)
