thanks, that finally did it. i tried it before (andreas gave me a
similar hint a while ago), but my misconception was that i thought i
could add this patch file to my live tree.
but of course it will only be used during deployment, i.e. i need to add
this file to my external pub directory and rebuild.
and i thought that the patch file method to create search indices was no
longer used with the new lucene module (i recall a message from andreas
to that effect).
andreas, could you clarify?
anyway, i have my index back and can go live by the end of february, as
planned, thanks a bunch, doug.
