I disagree.
same here. modules and usecases in 1.4 (along with pub templating) are
very easy to use. By using java one can work with the lenya api easier,
and the modularization removes the conflicts (no core customization
needed) from my "svn up" in the lenya directory. Java is a breeze to
debug as well ;).
One can still "roll your own" in the 1.4 module, so it should be fairly
easy to port 1.2 customizations.
