Please, everyone get a grip here, the facts are:
1) Lenya is required to have Project Guidelines by the ASF
2) The guidelines need to be discussed and agreed by *everyone*
3) How the discussion is started is irrelevant

Please, allow me, as an outsider with no "side" at all, to make a
suggestion to help move things on from here:
i appreciate the input, but at the same time i am wondering what is
wrong with starting with the forrest guidelines?
as said many times before. Because starting with the Forrest Guidelines
means you impose something instead starting from a blank
paper. This is a huge difference than using the Forrest guidelines as
inspiration.
It seems to me that Ross has understood that and I hope that others
within this community will be able to understand this as well.
