hi *!

i was wondering how to handle the usecases name space. the prefixes introduced in lenya 1.4 are a really nice step forward, but it seems it's not clearly defined what modules should do...

currently, there are both <modulename>.<action> and <action>.<modulename>. for instance, consider "edit.bxe" and "lucene.search".

from the pov of the default publication, it is of course nice to have a all editors grouped as edit.bxe, edit.kupu etc, but from an architectural pov i think in the long run it makes more sense to prefer the form <modulename>.<action>

+1

and deprecate the other variant.

There's no need to deprecate it, since modules have never been released.

that way, module authors only need to make sure that their module name is unique and can be sure they have a clean sub-namespace for their usecases without danger of clashes.

what do you think?
